この法人は地域の史跡や伝統文化の保存・継承・発展のため、子どもたちや、若者たちをはじめ幅広い世代の人々に対して、大分の歴史・文化の維持・保存及び普及・教育に関する事業を行い、「有形無形の文化を後世に残し伝える事」に寄与することを目的とする。
