この法人は、地域で生活する知的障害者およびその他障害者の方に対して、生活自立及び経済自立支援と促進にともなう社会福祉に関する事業を行うと共に、伝統工芸である和紙作りを通して伝統を守り新たなる創造を加えながら、社会の一員として、障害者の持つ生活障害や諸々に関する問題の緩和を図り、もって地域福祉全般の福祉増進と和紙の伝統と更なる拡大に寄与することを目的とする。
