この法人は、心の病や人生の困難のために社会から「ひきこもる青年」たちに対して、医療と教育の両面からその心に働きかけ就労などの社会的生産活動へと導くために、単に医療支援や教育的訓練を行うだけでなく、産業と福祉との連携のなかで支援環境を創り出し、青年および関わる人々が生涯に亘って自己を学び、如何に人のために自分を役立たせるかと言う福祉的活動の支援に関する活動を行い、もって人々の生涯学習に貢献することを目的とする。
