この法人は、会員の相互の協力により、医療従事者、医学生、一般市民等に対する心肺蘇生法、災害医療及びこれに関連する医療技術、知識等（以下「救急・災害医療等」という）の普及、救急・災害医療等にかかわる情報提供、相談・支援事業を行うことにより心肺蘇生技能の向上、災害医療の質の向上をはかり、市民の救命、社会復帰に寄与することを目的とする。
