この法人は、大町市美麻地区及びその周辺の住民と、住民に関わりのあるもの全てに対し、信州中山間地の豊かな自然と住民の生活を維持し、先人に学び、伝統を守りながら『地域コミュニテイー再構築と地域の元気』をキーワードに地域の力の再生、保健、医療福祉、国際交流、都市との交流等の事業を行い、住民が、未来に向けて、活き活きと、安心して暮らせる地域作りに、寄与することを目的とする。
