この法人は、土浦市及び近隣市町村を対象として、成年後見制度の啓発と利用促進を図る活動を行い、さらに市民後見人として成年後見サービスの提供をもって、判断能力の低下した人たちの個人の尊厳と自己決定権が保持され、住み慣れた場所で安全に安心して暮らせる環境づくりと地域福祉の充実した社会の実現に寄与することを目的とする。
