この法人は、白神山地から米代川、八郎湖にまで広がる能代山本地域を活動拠点とし、自然や特産品、伝統芸能などの豊かな地域資源を、市民活動や地域密着型情報発信により、保全すると共に利活用を進め、将来を担う子ども達や、高齢者、障がいを抱える方々など住民が、安心して住みやすい魅力ある生活空間を創造する。
