この法人は、杉本家の保存活用と戸出地区の歴史的建造物の保存活用と歴史まちづくりを行う。内容としては調査・研究、保存・修復、活用に関する事業を行い、江戸時代初期から続く戸出の町並みの歴史的景観を保全し、地域の歴史的資源を活かした歴史まちづくりに寄与することを目的とする。地域の方々と一緒に考え、暮らしやすいまちづくりの促進を目指す。
