この法人は、企業・団体・個人から十分安全に食べられるにもかかわらず消費されず余剰となっている食品等の寄贈を受け、経済的に困窮した世帯や困窮に陥るおそれのある世帯を対象に食品の提供を行うことで、食品ロスの削減を通じて貧困や飢餓の是正を図り、誰もが差別・排除されずに安心して暮らすことができる社会をつくることを目的とする。
