この法人は，地域住民に対して，火災・災害の予防及び防止活動に関する活動を行い，安全に，安心して住める地域の確保をする。また，国際交流を通じて各国の自然環境を利用した災害に対する取り組み等を取り入れ，失われてゆく自然を守る環境保護にも繋げ，地域住民が安全で安心して住めるまちづくりに寄与することを目的とする。
