この法人は、夫やパートナーなど近しい関係にある男性からふるわれる身体的、精神的、性的、経済的、社会的等の暴力（以下「ドメスティック・バイオレンス」という）に悩む女性及びそれに付随して生ずる虐待被害児童の人権回復のために必要な支援を提供するとともに、ドメスティック・バイオレンスがゆるされない人権侵害行為であることを桐生市およびその周辺地域において啓発することを目的とする。
