この法人は，広くれんこん生産者及び一般市民を対象として，農業ヘルパーの育成を行い蓮根田の荒廃を防ぐ活動を推進するとともに，れんこん栽培の振興のための試験研究等に関する事業を農業団体，行政と連携して行い，地域振興に寄与することを目的とする。
