この法人は、医療、バイオ、環境分野において公的な研究機関や検査機関（大学等の教育機関や研究所等）と民間企業における研究や産業ニーズに基づく産官学共同研究の支援事業を行い、研究成果による新たな産業及び産業ニーズによる新たな研究の創生を目的とする。またこれらの活動により得られた知見や新しい技術等の情報をこの法人から発信することにより、地域社会の産業、経済、文化、教育の振興と発展に寄与することを目的とする。
