この法人は、事情により十分な食料が得られない人たちや福祉団体に対して、食品流通上での余剰食品を有効に提供（寄付行為等により）して頂き、効率的に届ける事業を行うことにより、提供元の廃棄コストの節約、提供先での食費の節約につながり、「食」についての互いのネットワークを構築させる。又森づくり活動を通じ、環境と資源の有効活用を図り社会貢献することを目的とする。
