この法人は、奥利根水源地域の自然環境保全と適正な利・活用及び、人と自然を結びつける体験活動や、地域文化の掘り起こしとあらたな価値創造のためのネットワークづくり、ならびに健康で豊かな安心して暮らせる地域社会の実現等に関する事業を行い、不特定かつ多数のものの利益の増進に寄与することを目的とする。
