本法人は、防災、災害救援のための地域市民に対する情報サービス支援を中心に、個人の地域情報の利用向上と市民活動団体の情報化支援のために、インターネット活用の普及等、社会活動における情報化推進に関する事業を行い、地域ネットワークを形成することにより、地域の防災に対する意識向上を通じて、社会全体の利益の増進に寄与することを目的とする。
