この法人は、脳腫瘍症例の収集、保管と公開、病理診断のコンサルテーション、および脳腫瘍の共同研究の推進に関する事業を行い、脳腫瘍の病理学的研究の促進、脳腫瘍の病理診断レベルの向上、脳腫瘍に関する国際的研究交流の促進、および脳腫瘍患者が最適かつ最善の治療をうけることに寄与することを目的とする。
