この法人は、消費生活に関する情報の収集及び提供、消費者の被害の防止及び救済のための活動、多重債務者の生活再建の支援に関する活動その他の不特定かつ多数の消費者の利益の擁護を図るための活動を行い、もって消費者の被害根絶、権利擁護及び社会教育の推進に寄与することを目的とする。
