この法人は山形県寒河江市田代地区を活動拠点として、生涯学習、健康・福祉、体育・スポーツ、観光、文化・芸術、中山間地域の振興等を各関係機関と連携を図り、それらに必要な情報の収集・調査研究・提供、各種必要な研修、施設管理・運営活動等に関する事業を行い、田代地区の地域づくりを担い地域住民及びすべての関係者が豊かで健やかな人生を送れる社会の実現に寄与することを目的とする。
