この法人は、福井県において、ＬＧＢＴＱ（レズビアン・ゲイ・バイセクシュアル・トランスジェンダー・クエスチョニング）等と呼ばれる性的マイノリティの人々への理解を拡げることで、誰もが自分らしく暮らしやすい地域となること、すべての県民の多様性や人権が尊重される社会の実現に寄与すること、また、県および県内各自治体における同性パートナーシップ制度の導入促進を目的とする。
