この法人は、市民に対して、インターネット接続に際しての有害サイトのフィルタリングを支援する事業を行うとともに、高度情報化社会での、情報通信技術（ＩＴ）教育の健全化、良質化を促すために、教員や児童に対して情報通信技術（ＩＴ）教育支援を目的とする事業を行い、もって社会全体の利益に寄与することを目的とする。
