本会は、我が国における薬害エイズを教訓として、二度と薬害を起こさない社会、ＨＩＶ感染をはじめとする感染症の患者・家族・遺族に対する差別と偏見のない社会、患者・家族・遺族の人権が保障され、適切な医療及び福祉を享受できる社会を築くことを目的とする。
