この法人は、ダウン症などによる知的障がい、ＬＤ(学習障がい）、ＡＤ／ＨＤ（注意欠陥、多動性障がい）、アスペルガー症候群を含むＡＳＤ(自閉症スペクトラム障がい）などの発達障がい・軽度知的障がい、あるいは視覚、聴覚、肢体不自由、内部障がいなどによる身体障がい、あるいは統合失調症、躁鬱病、てんかんといった精神障がい、あるいは筋ジストロフィーなどの特定疾患を含む難病など、さまざまな障がい・難病を持つ児・者に対し、健やかな成長・生活をはかるため、以上のような障がい児者、難病児者の理解、教育、就労、自立的生活の支援
