この法人は、子供から高齢者や障害を持つ人まで幅広い層を対象に自然教育・環境教育を実施し、自然の価値や人と自然のつながりを伝えることにより、環境意識の向上や青少年の健全育成に寄与すること、および自然を舞台とした体験活動を促進することを通じて地域のまちづくりや新産業の創造に寄与すること、また地域の学校と連携し家庭を取り巻く環境の変化を踏まえ、放課後や週末等に児童が安心して生活できる居場所を確保するとともに、児童の健全な育成支援に寄与することを目的とする。
