この法人は、青少年を始めとして広く一般市民に対して、森林の大切な資源としての働きに目を向けてもらうために、森に親しみ、森を育て、森を活用する事業を行い、よって、森林の再生と自然環境の保全及び社会教育の推進に寄与することを目的とする。
