この法人は、佐賀県内において肝胆膵領域に関連した疾患に関する医学研究が円滑に行えるよう医師及び関係機関と調整を行い、また医師が実施する臨床研究の科学的・倫理的妥当性を検証し、かつその遂行を支援することなどにより、佐賀県内の医学・医療の発展に寄与することを目的とする。
