この法人は、会員相互の協力により、子育てに関する幅広い分野で子育ての応援および自分（親）育ての普及活動を行うとともに、不特定多数の市民・団体等を対象に助言又は応援・協力を行い、育児サポーターの人材の育成を推進し、育児の楽しさや将来的な希望をもたらし、子どもの健やかな成長や福祉の質の向上等の公益の増進とともに多くの人々の社会参加への促進に寄与することを目的とする。
