この法人は、全ての人が明るく、安全で、環境に配慮した社会で生活できることを目的として、食料など製造物の廃棄ロスを減少させ、また、それを有効に活用する事業であるフードバンクの運営を行う。また、より効果的な活動が継続的に行えるよう、他の団体と連携、相互協力し、情報の収集・共有・発信を行い、地域の再生、活性化を図る。
