この法人は、長洲町及びその近郊の会員並びに地域住民に対して、スポーツの振興と健康づくりに関する事業を行い、会員相互の親睦と交流を図り、会員のみならず子どもから高齢者まで地域住民の健全な心身の育成や地域の連帯意識の高揚に寄与することを目的とし、次代を担う子ども達が社会人になったとき、この地域でのスポーツリーダーとして携われるような循環型の機能を構築する。
