この法人は、（１）周産期の病気等でこどもを突然亡くした家族への精神的援助（２）睡眠時のこどもの突然死に関する知識の普及（３）睡眠時のこどもの突然死に関する研究活動への協力、に関する事業を行うことにより、こどもとその家族の健康、福祉の増進に寄与することを目的とする。
